Discuss a custom website

Have a website already?

You may not need to start over.

If your website still works but feels dated, leaves customers with questions, or makes contacting you difficult, I can help improve the parts that need attention. We'll decide whether focused changes or a rebuild make more sense.

Tell me what needs attention

Focused improvements are quoted for the work required.

What a Quickstart includes

Both Quickstarts use an established layout, need content ready to use and include one combined round of changes within the agreed scope. All builds include the shared website foundations. Deeper SEO research, editing tools and any training are defined in your proposal.

You supply approved text, images or business information ready to use.

What we scope separately

Substantial original copywriting, research, complex migrations, ecommerce, and unusual integrations need individual scoping. Future improvements can be separately scoped or covered by optional monthly support.

Domain, hosting, platform subscriptions, and other outside costs are separate unless explicitly included in your proposal. Monthly support is optional and is not required to buy or own a website.

AI may assist production; I plan and review the work. Quickstarts use an established layout, while custom projects allow more individual design and functionality.

A direct working relationship

You work directly with me.

You work with me on what your website needs to say, how it should look, and how customers will use it.

  1. Decide what matters.

We discuss your business, your customers and what the website needs to do. I recommend a scope and explain the cost.

  2. Create and review.

I build the agreed website. You check the facts, see the work and share feedback before launch.

  3. Launch and hand over.

We complete the agreed checks and confirm how the website will be managed. Ongoing help is available if you want it.

Your proposal records the scope, schedule, responsibilities and review process.

Before we begin

A few practical questions.

Can you improve my existing website?

Yes. A focused update may be enough if the foundation is sound. I’ll review what you have and recommend what is worth changing.

What content do I need to provide?

For a Quickstart, you provide approved text, images or business information ready to use. Substantial original copywriting can be scoped separately. You confirm the facts and approve the final message.

Is SEO included?

Every website build includes page titles, meta descriptions, sensible headings, indexability checks and basic internal linking. Deeper research, complex migrations and ongoing SEO are separately scoped.

Which platform will you use?

I work with WordPress, Wix and custom website workflows. The choice follows your budget, editing needs, integrations and maintenance requirements.

Will I be able to make updates?

We agree on what you can edit, what needs developer help and any training before work starts. Editing tools and unlimited changes are not automatically included in every package.

Who owns the website? Do I have to host with you?

You should own your domain and essential business accounts. Hosting and ongoing support are optional. I manage the code files by default; transfer is available on request, subject to documented licenses, accounts and credentials. Your agreement records the handoff terms.

How long will the project take?

Your proposal sets the schedule based on scope, content readiness, integrations and review. We agree on your responsibilities and mine before work begins.

Do you only work with Christian organizations?

No. My Christian convictions shape how I work, but you do not need to share my faith. Small businesses, churches and ministries from many backgrounds are welcome.

What happens after launch?

We complete the agreed handoff and any included training. You can manage the website through your chosen arrangement or discuss optional ongoing help. A monthly retainer is not required.

Tell me what your website needs to do.

Share a few sentences and your current website, if you have one. I'll review your inquiry and recommend a next step.
